Charity Football Match In Aid Of Cancer Research

Hi,

We are holding a Charity Football Match at Radcliffe Boro's Stainton Park on the 10th May 2009 in aid of Cancer Research.

The game is going to be played v's a Bolton Wanderers Legends team including, David Lee, Julian Darby, Tony Kelly plus more

We are holding a raffle on the day which at present we are contacting companies and Football Clubs for prizes, there will be refreshments available on the day (including beer!!)

The game is a 2pm kick off and we are looking to open the gates at 1pm.

There is a strong posibility also that some first team players will be attending the event to present the raffle, and also hand out the winning team with the trophy.

Tickets will be on sale from Monday and are priced:

Adults ???4

Children ???1

If you would like tickets there are a number of ways to purchase these,

Ticket line: 07982 699 172 or 0771 684 1280

You can also purchase them in person from Blackhorse pub on Bury Road and Rumworth Hall Prescott Street St Helens Road.

Or via this site via personal message.

Sounds good that, may well pop along.

I can see a flaw in your post though, you mention Bolton Wanderers Legends and Julian Darby in the same sentence!

Ju Ju Ju darby!!!!

I thought the major flaw was suggesting that current players are possibly attending.

Surely they'll be in for extra training after being stuffed by Sunderland the day before.

Pathetic! We are talking about a charity football match and for some reason people use this as another way to have a pop at Gary Megson.

Barry it is sadly par for the course.

Certain posters on here manage to get digs at Megson into every thread, including this one!

Can both sides of the Megson fence just leave this thread alone, please?

Discuss it elsewhere. Don't ruin a worthy thread.

Possibility of Jason Mcateer and Alan Stubs being involved in this match.

If Stubbs plays, the crowd will double: there'll be loads there to abuse that cunt.

Aye, don't want to hijack your thread but he's no Bolton legend and should never be associated with the club in any way.
