Traf Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 (edited) 1. Consider these races only: Handicap Hurdle or Handicap Chase 2. Horse must be a course & distance winner. 3. Horse must have been 1st, 2nd, 3rd or Pulled Up last time out. 4. 3m 3f is the longest race we'll consider. 5. Minimum of 5 runners per race. 6. Any track that is good-firm or harder to be disregarded. 7. Nothing over 25/1 8. Disregard these 11 tracks: Bangor, Cartmel, Cheltenham, Folkestone, Huntingdon, Leicester, Lingfield, Southwell, Uttoxeter, Warwick and Wetherby. Edited September 7, 2009 by Traf Quote
Traf Posted April 27, 2009 Author Posted April 27, 2009 This one is for the jumps, so it'll have to keep for a while, but it's quite good. http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=8b42b93...621d66e282a0ee8 Quote

The results look very profitable from that grid, definatley looks worth trying when the time comes around. Thanks for pointing it out Quote

Traf Posted April 28, 2009 Author Posted April 28, 2009 Tom Sayers in the 3:30 at Wincanton today fits the bill for that one i think. Small E/W bet at double digit odds, I reckon. Is currently 9/1, will drift in the market due to having a poor season, but likes the course. 4 of its last 5 wins were at Wincanton. Quote

Traf Posted May 5, 2009 Author Posted May 5, 2009 Very nice winner there, was a strange race only 2 horses in it really My betbot backed it at 10.0: set at 5 seconds before the scheduled off time. Quote
top_boy_84 Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 I'm trialing the NH one at the moment before getting stuck in. Raslan and Macmar are two that fit the bill in the 6:50 at Exeter. Currently 12 and 8.4 on Betfair. Quote
Traf Posted May 5, 2009 Author Posted May 5, 2009 (edited) Raslan has won over the course and over the distance. But he's not a course and distance winner. I've taken 11.0 on macmar to win and 2.8 for a place. Edited May 5, 2009 by Traf Quote

I think the NH trends will start getting more profit now weve had some rain to soften the ground up a bit. Quote

It has won over course and distance on separate occasions and is therefore a course and distance winner..? Quote
Traf Posted May 5, 2009 Author Posted May 5, 2009 For example Haydock races in a 2m hurdle. A horse that has previously won at Haydock is a course winner. A horse that has won a 2m race is a distance winner. A horse that has won a 2m race at Haydock is a course and distance winner. You can be the first two without being the third one. Quote
