The away goals rule was changed after Ipswich missed out that season for the third time on the bounce (I think), always seemed that the powers that be were trying to help them any way they could, which given subsequent events seems to be very much the case.

Think we would have gone through again if away goals counted the second time around,as i think off top of

 

my head that it was 2-2 at Reebok then 3-3 after 90 mnis at that shithole and finished 5-3,fcuk um anyhow

I used to work in a hotel where they hold the annual 2-3 day FA AGM. All the chairmen and owners attend and swan up in their cars and helecopters (with security) for a jolly!

 

When Sheepshanks was there I can confirm he is a class A tosser and didn't get my respect throughout the stay after that night in Ipswich.......

 

 

oh and Gartside is a cheapskate!
