JimmyRiddle Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 (edited) Have just had a nice offer from mum and dad to have kids for a couple of nights over New Year, so me and missus looking to go away. Can anyone recommend anywhere with an atmosphere, decent food, open fires and decent walks close by?? Thanks Edited December 27, 2009 by JimmyRiddle

If I have to spend much longer couped up with the missus I'll definitely be able to throw an atmosphere in too. Just bring a knife to cut it with.

Hehe, when I read my post back I realised I needed an adjective in there too!
pike_mill_white Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 (edited) Ive spent many a New Year in Keswick, a really nice town with a good few pubs, open fires, nice atmosphere and great walks near by. Plus the best fish and chips shop Ive ever been to.... Edited December 28, 2009 by pike_mill_white
