It would appear Danny Shittu is wanted in both Germany and Turkey after excelling in the African Nations. I would imagine Coyle would want to look at him before he looks at selling.Will be interesting to see what happens. I personally have always felt he never got a fair chance however he was always prone to a mistake and as we all know mistakes at the back always get highlighted more. You never know a bit of feel good confidence from Coyle could change everything. Should we try and cash in or give him a chance to prove himself?

I do agree but didnt some think Sol Campbell would have been a good signing before he signed again with Arsenal,you appear to have described him perfectly. Im not sayig Shittu is as good as Campbell just guaging similarities now that he is past his best.

on that sort of wage (if accurate) then it may well be worth just curring our losses, and not even trying to get a trasnfer fee for him. I would be suprised if Coyle didn't want to look at him in training first though, unless of course he feels he already knows how good/bad he alreaady is

I found it hard to believe too but its seems to add up because weve had loads of clubs interested until they try sorting out a contract for him. Hopefully some mug will think the african gunslingers cup is good and buy him off that.

With the ratio of wages to income in our Financials, I'm guessing that ??25K a week is now par for the course of a squad filler in The Premiership.

he's a decent half when it comes to winning headers and tackling but he is worrying when the ball is on the deck, panics a lot and dont think he's a prem player, nice guy when i met him though
