We were completely un-prepared for this whole Europa campaign, players signed too late, too many players injured. Everyone gets injuries, but Moyes has made some poor choices when replacing them.

 

I love moyes but one thing he is not, is a great Tactical manager, he is a great man manager, he gets the best out of players, and allows them to play.

 

At Goodison, we can dictate the game, and play how we want, away from home, especially in Europe, Moyes struggles to get the same, as you cant go to these big clubs and dictate the game, and hold the ball, you have to change your approach.

 

Having said that, we missed Fellaini BIG time.

I can let you off for Benfica, they are having a great season and 20 points clear of Sporting already. Uniao Leiria can go above Sporting tonight and you've probably not even heard of them!

I was impressed with Fullem at Donetsk. Great ball retention in the later stages when holding onto a one-goal aggregate lead after the home side had equalised on the night.
