April 1, 201016 yr brought to mind the days when we had two goalscorers on the pitch first two i remember were byrom and garry jones (jones had either been injured or about to be injured so i didn't really see him at his best) so became byrom and lee then taylor and whatmore - now they were shit hot...20 each one year we had the season when oghani, caldwell and chandler all got 20 and we nearly went down....laughable, but mcgovern diodn't have a clue any more for any more? April 1, 201016 yr Michael Ricketts and Deano when we came up in 2001. Ricketts bagged 24 and deano 16. I enjoyed that season
April 1, 201016 yr Walker and McGinlay for me- a synergistic pairing. Watched them re-united (at Super's testimonial ?) and immediately they clicked together. Don't know if you can really coach that level of mutual understanding, or does a good manager just see two players that may well gell together?
