Editing A Scanned Document

Featured Replies

How do I edit a document I have scanned? I can't figure it out, any ideas, please

Ta

Dependant on the kind of quality you require, but I have done it by opening the document with Paint, covering the offending item with a solid box of colour and then using the text option over the top.

I have only used it for changing serial numbers on CE certificates and the like but it does the trick for me.

Thanks folks, I'll give it a go

Yep, scanned document is an image. So you can use MS Paint or whatever to edit it crudely.

Throw your laptop out of your bathroom window

That should work
