That Circus

Going back about 10 years now. Anyone remember it up on hunger hill?. Remember me dad coming home one day telling me he's just seen elephants while he was putting petrol in the car. Though he'd we're taking the p*ss.. Was a reet good show as well. They had the lot, lions, tigers, zebra's, elephants. Anyone remember the name of it? And if it's still going?

Didn't think they were allowed to use animals anymore.

It was nearer 15. I used to work in the pub across the road & can confirm there was jungle type creatures grazing merrily in the field. Not a clue of the name though, sorry.

Remember elephants in the field across from the 3 pigeons. 10 years ago? God i feel old now.

i remember that as a young un, drivin past seein elephants in the field, that was a definition of a double take

I remember going to the circus and it was amazing, then we would go to the tavern pub and watch the fireworks on the fields. If we was lucky we would also go to the garden centre across the road ;)

What, the Chinese Circus in town, they could of advertised it, you know, put some posters up or something :whistle:

Think it was called Ghandi's Circus remember it once as a kid in Farnworth on the corner of Longcauseway
