I'm going on one of these Barge do's on the 11th of Nov for the afternoon, do they have life jackets as someone will be going in!!!

Is the ale reasonably priced?

I think we are off to Atherton at nite, some shithole called Morgans :drinks:

I'll let Lawrence [the owner know] :D

It has only just re-opened, fighting in there last Friday, I've not been in for about 8 years, apparently it is a good night and the sell Desperado's :drinks:

Have a good night, Athy isn't as bad as people make out, Athy Arms, Jolly Naylor, Old Isaac's, Pendle Witch are all decent boozers :good:

They do have life jackets but I doubt they've ever been worn. Beer's cheap enough, especially bearing in mind you can take your own booze on the barge. No doubt you'll be that pissed when you get off that prices will be the last thing on your mind. Top lock pub is a belter for food and beers if you're setting off from Adlington? Quality day but I reckon you'll be freezing in Nov....!

That curry house whats in the old church on the main road is a belter. best rogan josh since Rusholme.
