because unless he's on 80k a week or something, as I don't know what he's on, then it's hard to say he isn't worth it - because he's been a good team/squad player for us and not really do nothing wrong other than not skin full backs week in week out or scored 40 yard screamers like he did for City every now and again

That quote sounds a bit kneejerk out of context but fair enough - I'm only guessing what sort of wage he'll be on, but given he was well touted and there was no fee involved, I'm confident it'll be a relatively good screw.

 

I suppose all I was saying was that, with a club that's run like ours is, it's pretty important to get it bob on when we go into the transfer market. With Petrov, I'm not sure the way we play is compatible with the way he does.
