December 15, 201114 yr Went last year doing a few days work out there. Hotel was great - if expensive - around ?5 for a pint. Stayed at the Hilton Beach Club on the Corniche. Spent most of the 5 days there slaving away - was going the big mall on the Friday morning (holy day), but that is closed until 3pm, when we were back in work. Ate 'local' a couple of times - good food and good value. Smokers paradise - around ?5 for 200. Don't get a parking ticket - that was the system I was working on - can cost up to ?1000! Locals, well the wardens we met, were really friendly and always said hello, and tried a conversation. Too much time spent working, but what I saw and experienced, I enjoyed HTH
