Do you feel like one of the three little pigs, waiting for the big bad wolf to arrive.

Has nobody else with empty property received their notice of an increase to 150% then? If I'm not much mistaken, that's a tax. It won't be a problem in a bit though, I'll bring the property up to mediocre letting standard on the cheap - then rent it out to benefits claimants, sorted. It'll cost the taxpayer £X amount to pay for rent on a property that was dormant, but fuck it, that's not my problem.

The one affecting council tax benefits claimants is more correctly a dual-fold cut in benefits or indirect tax on low wages - as there aren't enough single bedroom properties to move to, most will stay on and pay the shortfall out of day-to-day living benefits/wages.

I thought that was just a local authority thing, linked to council tax and not pn the same page as the nation-wide bedroom tax where everyone has to pay £100 a day for a spare room?

I've got a solution to your £100 a day tax problem.

Let Spider live in your spare room and give him £50 a day.

That way, he's got a dry roof over his head and you're £50 a day better off.

I think you're safe, sadly I'm nearer for his commute. You can borrow him at weekends though :D

It's alright you can keep him :)

I'd hear they had a chance to opt out of paying the tax, providing they let the spare room to a Bulgarian/Romanian prozzy (or rent boy)?

I might have something to say about that though.....

So he's not on your fantasy 3-way list?

No, that would be you. Smiffs has always had a thing for you.

Well, obviously, but I'm reluctant to travel to Horwich.

My shitfan rating proves this.

He'll be very disappointed.

Not for me.

His arse is still like a blood orange after his incident in Kirkham.

You know me better than that, surely.

Well

If I may make a case for myself

I'm the perfect spare bedroom guest. I smell nice for at least 2 hours a day, I nearly always remember to flush and I have excellent directional control of my ejaculate so no nasty surprises on the carpet.
