Beating Preston 2 nil at deepdale on New years day 2001. We were winning 1 nil and Allardyce brought Ricketts on as a sub, the fans started singing "2 nil to the wanderers...." and within a minute Ricketts scored the 2nd.

Went to that myself miami john thomas hat trick if I'm not mistaken. Went to city lights in farnworth when i got back with my mates from darwen. Nearly got twatted off the locals afterwards until i started a chant of " someone scored a goal john thomas" rough place that farnworth.
