Could have been a bully with his own lazy ideas; a horse who has run against poor horses on northern tracks in small fields. Can't back it at odds on, as it has it's own mind. Might be something quite special though - was provisionally entered in today's Haydock GN trial, but could have run at Carlisle on Monday until it was abandoned. With the weather having ruled that out, might end up in the Eider next Saturday, at which point it's going to be worth backing at a decent price in case it really does have it in the locker. Cheltenham unlikely, so definitely wait until NRNB, and I'd be wanting every point of the likely large price with all of the question marks. But you're right, one to keep an eye on. I'd say it will go in at a big price in a top handicap at some point.

Very little to argue with there, but today's 3m 5f would have been a good plan, as opposed to trying 4m at Chelters with an amateur on board IMO.

February 17, 201412 yr tbf you couldn't have backed it at the prices, and would have ended up doing your brains in last time as well! Entered for the Eider on Saturday, will probably have a ride up if it's on/if he runs. Would be wanting bigger than the early 12's on offer. There would be worse 20/1 e/w shots especially but I'd waiting for the 50's in running when it comes from nowhere and everything becomes clearer. #stayslongerthanthemotherinlaw #wichitalineman

February 22, 201412 yr Travelled well but not able to bully a field that size. Quite a lot to like and should do ok next season in handicaps. Return to hurdling a possibility. Maybe this time next year the Eider though? Does seem to be the right race, wrong time.
