March 29, 201511 yr After a cheap DAB radio that can play tunes from my phone over WiFi or Bluetooth. It's only for the dining room or kitchen, nowt spesh or high performance. Don't have plans to add to any other rooms in the house. Any suggestions other than bose / sonos?
March 29, 201511 yr I've got one of these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Roberts-Blutune-Bluetooth-System-speaker/dp/B008PS7I9A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1427670247&sr=8-1&keywords=Dab+Bluetooth It's excellent
March 30, 201511 yr Been looking at one of those myself. Was wondering what the sound quality was like when you turn it up (so can hear it when sat in the garden - in the event we may have a nice summer for once). Does it go tinny or maintain a good sound? Was contemplating going to test it in Curries - but didn't want to be that knob that turns the speakers up loud who everyone scowls at.

It's certainly not tinny

March 30, 201511 yr Can us shit fans get GMR on dab for away games as I can't get it here on the old fashioned wireless? Or is it not on because of all that contractual obligations bollocks?
March 30, 201511 yr BBC Manc is on DAB. Dunno if it's available away from the region though. Oh and I have the same radio as CWP. Sound is very good and lots of bass for such a small unit. Not tinny at all IMO. Edited March 30, 201511 yr by DazBob

They are indeed a good sound.
March 30, 201511 yr Author We had a small dab docking station but its gone walkabout. I miss Jack dearden saying "from whence it came" of a Saturday afternoon
March 30, 201511 yr My pure one classic has an aux in but no bluetooth Proper good sound Paid about 90 for the first inc battery pack Got a second one recently for about 50

March 31, 201511 yr Erm, studio apartment thank you very much. I'm talking about the Halliwell residence, not the city centre loft apartment
April 24, 201511 yr Thanks again CWP. Bought one a couple of weeks ago - and not had chance to report back. Have made the most of it, sitting in the garden with a pint in hand basking in the Atherton sunshine whilst on paternity leave listening to the radio. Very impressed with the quality for the price.
