July 9, 201610 yr In May 2007, a month before leaving office, TB visited the British Embassy in Baghdad, on a farewell visit. He was running 10 minutes late - two vehicles were blown up. Shortly after he arrived the sirens went off and a rocket landed nearby. The new President of Iraq apologised, and said he may have made a mistake in informing the Iranian Ambassador of the secret visit.
