August 12, 201610 yr Need to get a quote for front of house. Having new windows, soffits, gutters etc and got a great price from a lad from Leigh. I need to organise the scaffolding though. Anyone know the ballpark £ I should be looking at for a three storey building 25ft tall x 23 ft wide?

August 13, 201610 yr Author Thanks for the advice. Just needed a ballpark to factor in to compare various window and soffit quotes I have. Phoned a local firm and they reckoned £250.00. Even at £500, using the lad from Leigh is a no brainer so I've given him the work. On the bamboo, I remember my first trips into China some 20 years ago and watching blokes working on bamboo scaffolding, looked like a good gust of wind would bring all the fuckers down.
