December 29, 20187 yr Bear in mind that Krakatoa blew up in 1883 to such an extent that wat was a 6000 ft mountain island disappeared leaving 3 much smaller islands in its stead. Global warming (worldwide) was reversed for the next 5 years due to the amount of dust circulating in the atmosphere. This "Child of Krakatoa" only emerged above sea level in 1927 and had grown year by year to over 1000 ft. It is about as unstable as anywhere on Earth.
