Here's a contradiction for you. That game was probably the best game that I have ever been too and not enjoyed

I always felt the highlights on ITV failed to capture the atmosphere that night. I always said it, but little things like the ball coming off an Ipswich player for a throw - but Knight giving it to them. Little things. Then the yellow mist descended. And then the penalties - I can still picture the fury and frustration on Gudni Bergsson's face after his timely challenge was adjudged a foul and penalty.

 

Alan Johnston's goal was sweet. If you can remember - Ipswich had just equalised. They were in mid voice "You're not singing anymore". We kicked off again, ran up their end and scored! Put that in your ragging pipe and smoke it!! What a feeling. I just knew though, that after all the yellow cards, we would fail to finish the game with 11 men. Robbie Elliott truly deserved to be sent off, but by that point, and after all the biased decisions, it was either him or Warhurst who was going to try to decapitate one of the Ipswich players.
