Subway to Hillhead, good pubs along Byers Road and Ashton Lane, Curler’s Rest and Tennent’s Bar - last bar in Glasgow to admit women.

Head to Finnieston, get off the train at Exhibition Centre and head for Argyle Street (the west end not the city centre end) fill up at Big Lebowski's (top notch burgers in there) and go for a wander

 Pedantic, I know, but there’s a massive difference between Scotch Whisky and Irish Whiskey.

I got it the wrong way round, no excuse either as was in Northern Ireland a couple of weeks ago sampling some of theirs.

As it happens, Irish is much smoother than Scotch.
