The way people used to age in the 80s means she must be about 21 there.

Then give it all back to the French coastguard while they kick back with a few Kronenbourgs watching Match of Le Day.
French TV highlights show of English Premier League is actually called Match of Ze Day 🙂

Blimey that’s a good loophole!
Shithouse would have known no doubt.

It was a robbery let's face it.

Uninhabitable or uninhabited? Have you ever been to Las Vegas? It really is in the middle of a big desert. Uninhabitable until someone thought to open gambling dens to take money from the gold miners. Then air conditioning was invented and the place thrives.
Think water is more important, there's no Colorado River in Oz.

Australia is about the same size as the US. 90% uninhabitable though.

Bit dramatic.
I'm not talking about kids travelling though, I'm talking about folks in their 40s who have built a life over here through work, not backpacking, who wouldn't go back to Australia - or people married and looking to start a family.
As I say, I think there might be an element of the grass is always greener, both ways. But ultimately for me, it'd feel a bit too flung to the far reaches of the world, with a climate that I'd mostly not like and too far away from family and friends.
Pretty sure you'd like Melbourne NIC. As for the rest nah.

According to British media, the UK government plans to expand its deportation strategy and is looking to seal deals to deport migrants to several countries, including Costa Rica.
Might as well go with the original plan at this point and send them to Australia again
Costa Rica is a rare Central American success isn't it. Hardly a deterrent. In fact I'd argue it's an incentive.

I know people who have done it and love it, others have moved back once they started families - or the other way round if they met someone from Australia over here.
I also know some Aussie's who moved over here through work and you wouldn't get them back to Australia if you tried.
Rightly or wrongly think most Aussies (in Australia) think their country the greatest in the world.
My brother was seconded to work in Melbourne for one of the banks. They asked him about the recruitment process and it was basically "who wants to work in Melbourne for 3 months" question to all. They seem to be taken aback that the best weren't targeted alone and told to go.

That's a hell of a pass on 26 seconds.

Brisbane's a very nice city, reminded me a bit of Perth actually. Feels really safe.
January and February are uncomfortable (air conditoning is essential) but other than that, a very good climate. "Winters" are beautiful.

I'm currently in Australia
I want to move here
I'm going to find out if I can
Brisbane? Join the Brits in Brisbane group on FB, folk are really helpful as this question gets asked all the time. I wanna move there what's the next step. Even if your job is not an obvious one on the skills shortage list there is usually a way probably via a migration agent.
It will probably be expensive to get the visa and time consuming. Hopefully you're under 45 too, much easier if so.

Seem to recall this was the game that cost us the chance at automatic promotion . Very brief highlights ...
Boa Morte got sent off (spitting) in that game didn't he? Take it that's a Fulham FC upload.

Not a chance they were the same person, if that is what you're suggesting
Nah I can't see it either. Individually (quoting that line from Fawlty Towers, the psychologists speaking about Basil) "there's enough material there for an entire conference".
There can't be two of em by the same person.

In amongst all Youris essays he kept referring to Crusty Pippin, think it was his wank sock?
Anyway @Sweep was one of the few who stayed awake long enough to pick this up.
A search later found the exchange

Fantasy bastard football to thank for that.

If this the best the Daily Mail can do then it proves the Labour Party front bench financially honest doesn't it.

It’s not specifically the season ticket holder themselves as they can still pass it on, it’s just either got to be the season ticket being scanned in or the seat being sold back to the club (both of which are easy enough to check).
All about the Premier League image. Thou shalt not see empty seats. Utd and Liverpool have had similar policies for years. Just depends on your circumstances whether it works for you or not.
Thanks for the straight bat response but I was taking the piss.

When I was over at Xmas met up with the guy who gave the penalty away against Preston on the last day. Didn't mention it 🙂
He's a big Bolton fan btw.

Think we won 15 of the last 19 games that season so we probably had more momentum then.

78 of them for GT.

Says it all in the article posted yesterday as well. Israel have been regularly hitting aid facilities. Nearly 200 aid workers have been killed since Oct 7th. 160 facilities hit too.
This one is horrific. Killed a British citizen an all.
Royal will be along shortly to tell us enough aid is getting through though. And that any starvation claims are all lies. Doesn’t matter that the folk who can deliver it are being blown to pieces.
These things happen in war 🙄

Aye. Some people recalling the 92/93 finale last week, but some of us still hoping for 87/88 🙂
