  1. I found the "If it was n't for the English you would be Krouts" a tad ignorant and stupid too. I should go "If it was n't for the English, the French Resistance, the 9 million Russians soldiers who died.....we would be Krouts" Why do we think that it was just the British who won WWII?
  2. Did you hear Chris Moyles taking the piss out of Alan Green's biased commentary this morning on Radio 1 - very funny. Even Alan Green's fellow BBC colleagues are calling him now.
  3. What about Bolton Archives in Central Library?

I went to Moscow last year. Visas are a pain to get. You have to get an 'invitation' from your hotel / tour operator and then apply to the Moscow consulate in London for the visa. Our visas came through within a couple of weeks , but I know they can sometimes take a while to process sometimes. I am not sure if there are different rules for football fans. Russia is a good place to visit, but the police are very paranoid because of Chechyna. St. Petersberg will be more geared up to tourists than most parts of Russia I expect. And yes, the beer is dead cheap. Most of the locals can't afford to drink in bars and tend to drink vodka and cans of beer on the street which is slightly odd. One interesting way (if you are feeling brave) to get to St. Petersberg would be to fly to Helsinki on a budget airline and then get the train to St. Petersberg.
  5. As Homer has said when the goals went in the bench, in particularly Vaz Te, went absolutely mental. It felt like the players and staff were part of the fans which is rare nowadays. The fact a fringe player like Vaz Te celebrated so madly shows what it meant to the players and how good the team spirit must be.
  6. Check out http://www.xs4all.nl/~kassiesa/bert/uefa/s...seeduc2005.html It has good information on the draw and format
  7. I emailed UEFA last week to complain about Plovdiv and the ticket situation last week. I would urge all supporters to do the same. They can be contacted on info@uefa.com . I have not had a reply yet.
