Diouf scored Senegal's fifth goal taking them through to the finals, which takes place this January and February in Ghana.Abdoulaye Meite was also in action in an African Cup of Nations qualifying match.He helped Ivory Coast reach the finals with a goalless draw against Gabon. Meanwhile, in Europe, three Wanderers' players were in action on the international stage.Nicolas Anelka played the full match for France against Italy in Milan.He had a number of excellent chances, but both teams failed to score. The draw took France to the top of Group B - a point clear of their next opponents on Wednesday Scotland. Well 12 players in & it's difficult to see how we have improved defensively, especially if Faye does go. I am sure Cid will come good eventually, but for me Faye & Jaaskelainen are proven Key players & for the sake long term success of Bolton should be retained & if we lose them for nowt next season so be it.
