So if he has a Ferrari worth £60 million - is that not included in his £75 million?

Really good read that, sounds so optimistic which is great. "“We have fully researched and put together a very detailed plan which is fully funded for three years,” she said." I wonder if their 3 year plan is based on us being relegated to L2, or is dependent on survival in L1. Or does that not really matter in the grand scheme of things.

Anyone know if staff got paid today? Should be showing up as pending to go in overnight.

Popular ex player who has managed Notts County. Worked out alright last time we did that!

It has been a night for partying and jubilation, but a small part of me just can't accept the fact that one man nearly wiped us out due to petty spite, greed and bitterness. I don't think he can be allowed to just sail away into the Monaco sunset. In America, they have class action lawsuits where the common man can rise up and bring the big bads to justice. If it is true that he decided from February, due to the protests, to just bring us to our knees by not paying staff wages and basically choking us to death, then he is personally responsible for: a) relegation - there's a good case that we wouldn't have been relegated if his shit hadn't hit the fan in Feb and he'd carried on paying the players b) -12 points - why oh why should the new regime be punished for his actions c) if the administrator report is true that he delayed the sale constantly, then he should be responsible for the administrators fees above and beyond what would have been reasonably expected. Is it worth trying to get BWFC fans to petition the EFL and any other governing bodies (FIFA even?) to protest about the -12 point deduction. Unlike any other club previously, our administration seems to have been deliberately induced by an individual . The grounds of appeal for the -12 I've reproduced below. Could a chairman going postal be classed as "normal business risk" ? If we could get a petition with 10,000 signatures on it, I think the EFL would have to act. (or, we all just put £1 in each to hire a hitman...) but only on the ground that the relevant Insolvency Event(s) arose solely as a result of a Force Majeure event (‘Sporting Sanctions Appeal’). 12.3.11 For the purposes of this Regulation 12.3, a ‘Force Majeure’ event shall be an event that, having regard to all of the circumstances, was caused by and resulted directly from circumstances, other than normal business risks, over which the Club and/or Group Undertaking (as the case may be) could not reasonably be expected to have control and its Officials had used all due diligence to avoid the happening of that event.

I would like to think that during the protracted delay, FV haven't just been twiddling thumbs and have been preparing for day 1.. Manager sorted. players sweet talked, over the past few weeks. Bring it on...

I get the feeling he wont want to ever buy a football club again now anyway

What is the Nick Mason connection, other than being business partner of Sharon in one of her other ventures. Did he have anything to do with it? Saw him at the Apollo last October, with the chap from Spandau doing the Waters role. Classic stuff.

Just got in, have i missed anything?

Whilst I dislike the man with a vengeance for what he's done, do we know this for a fact yet or is it all hearsay and rumour. He did say (via talksport) that it is not him holding up the deal anymore. (Although you can read into that he's stated the clause he wants and by the others not accepting it, they are holding up the deal in his eyes)

That's what Parky said on Sky last night, payday is the last friday of the month. assuming hotel staff / BWFC staff are the same.
-
They'll make a movie of this one day. I can see Ray Winstone as Ken. Barry from Eastenders as Bassini.
-
That could be good news - they were due to be paid by the administrators, but this could mean they're now due to be paid by FV?
-
Langan's Brasserie is one. I was reading tripadvisor reviews, sounds terrible.
-
Here's a thought. If Bassini has £39mil, give 7.5 million to Ken to get him to sign the fecking deal. Then go and buy Bury with the change.
-
Getting back on topic - if there is a total stalemate between KA and EDT - what on earth can be done to break it? I can't imagine they've been sat in a room an entire day just staring at each other.
-
I think that bloke in the red is Paul Appleton the administrator.
-
When I see that makes me think of family gathering around the bed of a dying man. Getting worried now.
-
And KA won't sign without the clause. Total stalemate. But before Bassini got that court order, all was good and 1 hr from completion if you believe the administrator. Someone is lying.
-
Presumably the EFL will suspend our games during those 14 days, like they did with Bury?
-
Just seen Laurence Bassini eating donuts
-
A decision I think they've made because it's probably not allowed to walk into the meeting room and bang everyones heads together. It hopefully has the same effect...

The EFL 5pm deadline is a bit irrelevant as things stands - that's for them to invoke the 14 day notice period so we'd still have a couple of weeks to get the deal done. The administrators are going to liquidate the company from tomorrow if the deal isn't done - nothing to do with the EFL deadline at all. So the real deadline for the deal being done is probably 9am tomorrow or whatever time the admins commence the liquidation.
