-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- lived in Monchengladbach for about 3 years whilst in the army. if you have the chance get out there, fantastic town good stadium, has a street that is just full of pubs use to get in a taxi and not speaking much german use to just say "strasse bitte" (street please) to the driver and he knew straight away where to go. couple of brit friendly bars there try the "gravel pit" if its still there, its an experience to behold especially at the weekend.
