Unfortunately I'm old enough to remember those bad days, I remember doing a sponsored walk to the pie eaters for a group called the "trotters revival" ,can't remember what year but I'm sure it was a boxing day match, and protesting against the warbys, back when protesting meant a riot cause we couldn't afford to fuck our bedsheets up, selling scratch cards for Des McBain and his merry group. Thing is we've been through worse, as fans, but we've been there, done that..and we're still here... This at the moment is hopefully just a blip and we will turn it around but if not we will still be here, harking back to the "good ol days" because that's what comes with being a Bolton fan

talking to my mate who is a Leicester fan they are going tits up apparently...talk of mutuny in the dressing room.....manager in shite state not knowing when he is getting sacked....all happening at the right time....for us anyway :-)

Was listening to Stuart robson on talkshite the other week.he's still a well respected coach and has got his ear in with most clubs when it comes to coaching and he was saying as it was a good thing Cahill moved to chelsea when he did as in as good a man motivater Coyle is ....his coaching skills, especially defensively leave a lot to be desired

Ain't we just failed, quite dramatically I think in the " let's bring back an ex-player" experiment

Next Season, Who Is Buying A Season......

work nights so will miss most of the midweek games.............still i'm in +3 -
right enough is enough....i've avoided posting on here for some time now and for that i apologise but i'm fcuking livid....that was the most inept performance i've seen this season and we've seen a few. there's only one man to blame and thats coyle. for him to come out with the shite he did yesterday about wheater being at fault is utter crap...everyone in the ground saw that goal coming for about 20 mins beforehand apart from him...utter clueless...4-4-2 doesnt work...the system only works at the moment with muamba in the side.....kevin davies (for all he's done for the club) has lost it....its that fcuking simple!!!!!!

we dont have to keep harping back to the 80s..all we do is look at the past 10 yrs apart from the last couple of yrs under fathead and that period of time best forgotten under megson..we've not had it too bad...yes yesterdays performance was dire and gutless and spineless as its ever been and we have a right to be angry, really fecking angry to say the least and it will hurt for some time yet and may never go away(dean holdsworth's miss still hurts doesnt it??) But shite happens.. and being bolton fans we know that... we lick our wounds and move on. i know one thing, at least we have places like this to vent our spleen which we didnt in the 80s..imagine if we had this back then
-
if it helps him get fitter quicker then do what he wants...yesterdays evidence shows we need him back as soon as possible so even if he turned up on dancing on fecking ice i couldnt give a shite as long as hes back playing for us soonest
-
gutless, spineless, overpayed and underworked set of pampered turds the lot of them!!!! they should hang their heads in shame and give a mass apology for yesterdays performance........... there rant over.. now a reality check..in over 35 years of supporting this club i've seen and experienced worse displays, cant think of many right now, but we have... think about it people, not too long ago we were travelling to the likes of newport and darlington.. i remember having to do a sponsored walk to the wigan game on a boxing day( cant remember the year) as part of the trotters revival to keep the club afloat...and 1 thing i do know..our hardcore support including the vast majority of the good people on here are second to none in my opion,,our sense of humour in victory and DEFEAT has always got us through everything and i see no reason why it wont now..yes its sore point at the moment but infighting at grounds or on forums is nonsense... be angry, be disappointed..be pissed off.. but come sunday, be together..and get behind the team..COYWM

Nat Lofthouse OBE - RIP
mannyroad vet replied to whiteyboy's topic in Nat Lofthouse O.B.E BWFC & England Book of Condolences
as said previously the word "legend" is too easily used these days but for this gent i can't think of a more apt description. bwfc have lost their finest player and ambassador and the town have lost their true son... RIP Nat.....sadly missed but will never be forgotten -
ye gods!!!!!!!!!!!!!! will we ever rid ourselves of this self obsessed fcuker????

right... just got back and i know i haven't posted for ages but i for one didn't want to get involved in all fhis megson argument. basically he was the manager so i was backing him and the team and i really believed that with some of his signings the future was looking.... well rosier.. but i've just listened to him on radio 5 and basically its our fault because the negativity is getting to the players.. and as for the sub....he says he did fhe same against west ham and noone had a go then.....well i cant remember the badger coming on against the spammers so that little excuse is just b*llocks..and frankly enough is enough. if he had any dignity we wouldn't have to sack him . he would pack his bags and f**K OFF!!!! but that ain't gonna happen is it???
-
morning all bit longwinded this but here goes............. just got back from work and was talking to a lad i work with who is a big leicester city fan and his wifes boss is heavily involved at the club and says that matt fryatt is on his way out........ now i dont know about you but i wouldnt mind seeing him in our team.... what do you think...could it be us, megson likes to keep his deals close to his chest...worth a punt? .........then again it could be bolloxs

football lost one of its few remaining legends today... a sad loss not just to british football but the world.. RIP Sir Bobby
-
knight would be a good addition to the squad and might....just might be a decent partner for cahill... as for rickets, dont know much about this lad but if you remember the last ricketts we had he turned out alright for a season then his head grew rather large thinking he was a international superstar, we sold him for a tidy profit and he disappeared up his own arse.. so the omans are good. if we get all three signed up by end of the week then thats good work..
