I have to admit megsonitis prompted me and I can understand long term users of WWays having heard it all before so it's not something I want to bang on about but I've got my opinion and I'll stick to it until someone comes up with a decent reason to change it. I'll get panned for this but anyone watched Jason Scotland who plays for Swansea I reckon he would score goals in the prem and Jason Koumas is rotting away at Wigan he has alot of talent, creative with some craft but can't remember if he fell out with Megson?!

We'd get more out of him if we used his assets more playing a nippy striker off him upfront in a 4-4-2 - Leroy Lita as a cheapish option this window / worth a go now we've got all the crap teams to play? I think his lack of pace costs us defensively put matty taylor on the right riccy left.

I think Megson will get us relegated this season - that's my opinion - I think he's a crap very limited manager - keeping us up post Sammy Lee doesn't warrant much praise some yes but not much - give him a chance why should we anyone who says he can build long term success at bolton is wrong in my opinion. Replacements - Gary Johnson/ Owen Coyle/ Aidy Boothroyd/ Mark Hughes (when he gets sacked from tinsel town) - to name but a few all have pros and cons but all the pros out way Megsons - excellent communicators and i believe would get the majority of fans backing from day one and start to build the club and supporters enthusiasm back up instead of treading water at best. Curve Ball - Louis Van Gaal at AZ Alkmaar - he can't be on mega bucks there he might be tempted by a stint at prem and obviously not afraid of smaller unfashionable clubs - would attract decent players

Ok I might have gone OTT a bit but no one can tell me he has done anything to bring ALL (he has done some decent stuff as I've said) the elements of the club together to start re-building to where we were - when he said "Bolton Fans make mountains out of mole hills" did that not drive you mad? How big a mountain do you want top 8 4 seasons on the bounce to relegation battlers - not all his fault but no sympathy or understanding that we're bound to be gutted about it, his interview after the everton game he showed contempt for the fans who booed then went on to big up citys away support, liverpool boxing day he says we had half an eye on the wigan game with 30 mins left - they are just a few examples and he continually does it week in week out ok we need to move on but so does he not out the job necessarily but his attitude.

So his attitude to us is bang on then? At what point has he ever tried to rally the club and supporters since we went from UEFA cup club to relegation battlers - that's his job especially when the vast majority don't like him? You can't have a successful club with the manager fan relationship we have it will lead one way - he's gone we're down. The only rallying call was when he said we shouldn't "implode" after a couple of defeats or in other words "don't bother booing me again after we've lost to Arsenal and United it makes no difference" - could he not have said "we need to fans to get behind us we're playing the top teams and will give it a real go"?? His token wave in madrid because we were kept behind for an hour counts for nothing - I see him on tv with a more positive attitude to the club and fans and I'll sing ginger mourinho no problem.

Managerially I would rather he was not in charge however he has done some decent things kept us up bought decent players my issue is with his attitude to the club and the fans - you can't have a manager of a football club being detached, that's ridiculous - he's detached because he can't stand us and is so bitter he's not prepared to at least try and build bridges - he puts the knife in at every possible opportunity lowers expectations, questions our previous record and gets as much of a siege mentality around him and the players versus the fans as much as he can. One thing is for sure we'll be here long after he's gone and the sooner the better - the only thing he's building is a wedge between us and the club.

Why does Gary Megson continually refer to our club as if he is completely detached from it?? examples he refers constantly to this club, the football club and this place - comments saturday were "Bolton have never scored many goals" His interviews on sky after Spurs and Everton were a disgrace It is doing my head in and is the single reason I cannot stand the man - kept us up bought some decent players fair enough but to me he clearly has no affection for BWFC or it's fans and does not want to build any bridges. Every interview he does drives me nuts we could be anyone it's just a job to him and the chance to prove people wrong but the only thing he is doing is proving everyone right the man does not deserve this job or our support. From the Real Madrid postings yeah there aren't many managers you'd fancy on paper but one that turns up in front of the cameras and says - "We are trying our best to turn things round and me and the players need our supporters who have been through a rough time over the last 2 seasons and I want to do the best for Bolton Wanderers because I'm proud to be the manager"

In my view it's not steinnsson thats the problem if SKD misses his first challenge then his lack of pace means he's out the equation thats why the quality teams always get round the back of us quick one twos and davies can't keep up with his man.

hello fellow whites just popping my cherry on here - I've always been an avid reader but megsonitis has over come me completely so I thought i'd join in.
