so why don't you (not personal but generic usage) make a stand and start cheering the club on, instead of just sitting there and letting the booing go on. It is easy to criticise that section of the fans but when there is no one cheering the club on, then there is only one voice being heard. So really which section of the crowd should be criticised - those booing or those who support the club but do not show it by cheering. If the cheering could be heard by the players etc then that could have a change of fortune, couldn't it?

not quite as there was post with what Sam said, which I commented about and then posts further down completely calling Sam, unfortunately. With regards to BBC - they have always been funny with regards to us. They hate showing us on Motd, they have never been favourable with comments they make about, so to them make such stupid mistakes about the club, games, previous managers, is no surprise!

Thats fine for a foresight, but if it was actually happening how would you feel? How do you think the workers in the car manufacturers are feeling, or even those who worked for Woolwoorths before it went bust? we can all say when it happens we will do this that and the other but when it does happen it is a totally different kettle of fish!

It would be the debt of Burnden Leisure and not Bolton Wanderers and as such as the two are not as closely interlinked, due to Gartside shrewd busines acumen that keeps that distance within the M&AA's of the businesses, as whats happend at Southampton, we would be deducted points. I am not an investment banker I work for a corporate bank and do not deal with clients, just with other agent banks with the Pledge Asset Middle Office department. It is a statement of fact that there are some on here with those views, right? So why not make a general summise statement which sits comfortably with the rest of my post in defending and accrediting the Board for what they have done. First of all, mr moderator sir, Polish do not have total freedom to move around the EU as many of the larger countries have laws nin place that do limit the number of Polish migrants. Secondly, with regards to the avatar, it does look like a Polish refugee from before they were admitted into the EU zone (no harm intended with that!). Thirdly the beginning bit is a case of thinking faster than typing and hitting the wrong key. As it should have read AT instead of IT. Finally I am English, born in Bolton and live in Bolton, just with Dutch heritage in me (from Dads side)

a point was made in trying to mock me by trying to read between the lines with my comment. It was a comment NOT aimed at anyone in particular and yet someone did not like it? why? did the person think I was aiming it at them? it is like paranoia for that person, if they assume I was aiming at them. How can the be causing trouble when stating a fact that someone seems paranoid by a comment? (or is that paranoia as well???)

I am not a big fan of the 2 tier Premiership plan as, for me, it just means that the Championship is being renamed Premier 2, and the tv money and glory will go to Premier 1, as it does now - in other words reformation for no reason whatsoever and keeping the prestige with the top 18 clubs, unfortunately. If it had been any other manager saying what Sam did, would he have been ridiculed as much as Sam, on here? Or is it just a chance to have another go at our most successful manager in the last 50 years (under the leadership of Gartside)

I am here, never posted on Bolton News (although I do read comments), never boast the fact I live elsewhere (I actually live in Sharples - near Sharples High School) and I have given my real name - to help quash that rumour once and for all. Negativity rubs off on to players and can have a detrimental effect on their performance and as such have a detrimental affect on our poition in the Premiership. If you were constantly told negative (or realistic) things at work what would youur apathy be. Yes football is a totally different workplace but the players are just like us - they are people - and if they constantly hear downbeat, negative talk from their manager how do you think they feel?

not likely... lets look at Bolton! 3 managers in 3 seasons! Very rarely spend like druken sailors - Gartside wont let us over-spend ideas above our station - rather see top ten security rather than mid-table mediocrity (not saying go for the league as we have never won the top league and probably never will, just as long as we play to the best of the players abilities and try to go as far as possible in cup games) and possible ventures into UEFA every now and again. We have the smallest squad in the Premiership (only 27 players) we are one of a few clubs in the country to have a youth squad we are one of a few clubs in the country to have a womens team we have one of the cheapest wage bills in both Premiership and Championship so how could Bolton's possible (and it is possible at this moment in time) relegation be similar to other clubs?

Be proud of the fact that there are wtalking about this site. Just see it as FREE advertising and possible new members signing up (just as long as they are sane!!!) I have now made my entrance known to this forum and I will now quieten down slightly.
