Unless the Administrators for the club have fucked up royally no, don't forget they are in control of the club and as such the website announcement about the price would have been there announcement... they were very clear in that release the £25m included the hotel... may be a little bit different in the final wash, as they may well have made an assumption on the cost of the hotel, but you'd assume that it'll be broadly that amount. Quantuma comments are interesting though... the value of the hotel, you would imagine is a lot less if its not in complete partnership with the club, makes no sense to not push for it to be involved in the overall acquisition.

Got to think with the 7th June deadline that some of the 30 interested parties have gone above and beyond prior to this in terms of speaking to creditors etc...etc... even with my glass half full view of us going into Administration I wasn’t expecting such a quick timetable to get bids in...
-
Doubt Bassini has £25k to waste to get in to see it
-
Like @Benny The Ball said 30 interested parties is the key... looks like everyone has come back to the table now they don’t have to deal with KA. £25m proof of funds - if you want the hotel as well doesn’t seem that much given it’s also proving you can run a club for 2 seasons... may not be enough to scare off the Bassini’s of the world. Also so seems like the administrators aren’t hanging around... didn’t expect anything like this for another week or so
-
I'm still glass half full... the fact that they have signed is the best news... not need to, particularly Connell.
-
Will keep an eye out
-
Of which some of those interested parties will have relationships with creditors as they'd been in active dialogue over the last 12 months with a view to purchasing the club... you'd hope... which may also speed things up... If we could get out of admin by mid-July don't forget this... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48255312

They do occasionally show common sense.... that's what I'm clinging too! https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47899636

Wrong , you're pessimism isn't going to spoil my optimism today... There's an open invitation to chuck cash at it in terms of SCMP, but you need to evidence its to grow the club not line your pockets. Key is the definition of Football Fortune Income... State Grid of China Stadium anyone? Also cash injections are allowable as turnover in the Football Fortune Income.... as long as they don't need to be paid back with interest... Furthermore the embargo... we shall see won't we, if the EFL deny a purchase of the club because of an embargo, then how do they explain to the world that they let a club die because a potential rich buyer walked away because they wouldn't let them invest?
-
Because they no longer have to deal with KA... You can picture it if you think long enough... (Chairman's office Unibol Stadium, Phone rings, Lee answers) Lee: Dad, that was Paul Aldridge, some rich Chinese group want to come and have a chat about buying the club. KA: Super son, tell him to add another £20m to the price Lee: Ok Dad. Can I get some more pocket money dad, Kathy needs her left tit re-inflating and her botox has melted KA: Of course son, thinking about it lets add £25m I just googled them and they stinking rich we can proper cream the bastards. Chinese: Whys the price different to the prospectus that was sent to the city Lee: Kathy needs a new left t... KA: We made a small profit, my business genius has turned the club round from making losses to profit making, and we own everything with very little debt Chinese: Don't talk shit, don't take us for a ride, you're a cunt (Chinese exit stage left) Like I say, I'm being very optimistic at the moment, so cannot see the EFL holding us to an embargo if a potential buyer challenges it... they may think that by chucking cash at a league one campaign you can overcome a minus 12 start... given our recent history its possible.... 18 points clear of 3rd... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016–17_Sheffield_United_F.C._season

You're probably right, and usually I'm a right miserable cunt, but I am surprising myself with how glass half full I am about the current situation.... The question that keeps coming back to me about the Chinese is - Why are they back in the picture now if they're not interested? To still be sniffing around now, points to it being serious interest, heading over making there presence known in a highest bidder takes it all situation also strikes me as part of them showing there hand in this... Who can compete with them financially if they really want it? May mean they have a free run at it and perversely get it cheaper. It's Bolton though ain't it and it'll end up kicking me in the nuts, and reverting me back to miserable cunt mode when Bassini wins the admin raffle...

It's after the botox melted in Dubai

Aye, but if she'd carried on looking like that she's not be with the fuck wit Lee...

Cannot see an embargo being put into play when we have no players... EFL are shit but not that shit

Shandong Luneng stuff may go nowhere, but they’re back for a sniff having previously been put off trying to deal with KA... said it god knows how many pages back, the only bit of ITK I have is dealing with him put people off... serious people don’t want to be taken for a ride and he kept trying that. Howard alluded to it, and reading between the lines Taylor is alluding to it in his quotes about focusing the mind. I’m remarkably at ease if/when admin happens, people will come in for us who were interested before because they no longer have to deal with KA... no idea who or if they’ll be any good for us but it’ll be reet...
-
His ex was killed in the Manchester bombings if I remember rightly
-
Probably this... First I can really remember anyhow
-
Taking KA out of the equation will help... no cunt wants to deal with our cunt, except another cunt.

Its what you make of it... it gives you an opportunity to start with a clean slate, we all want an oligarch, but you can turn the corner from Administration... plenty of businesses recover from Administration if they are run well... There is a team in the Prem who had a 17 point deduction in League 2 about 10 years ago... Its a glass half full kind of day
-
This is where I am at.... its not ideal, its fucking embarrassing, but if it brings this to a solution happy days. Administration doesn't have to be bad.... in a perverse way it may actually be the best scenario, and make us more attractive
-
I don't disagree that we're not attractive by the way... I just think there is a lot more to it than just the debt. How much indeed would you spend indeed, or put it another way how much to you ask for? Do we think Ken is asking for the mythical £1 plus the amounts he's owed? Or do we think he wants more? Add in the fact he'd creating debts by not paying off current business activities (police/ambulance/rent rates etc...etc.. ) for what ever reason, do we think the price is dropping to reflect that? Or do we think he's still asking for what he was originally asking? If he's asking for shit loads at this stage, or he's not changing his price to reflect current business practice I'd argue he's being problematic.... I get the point about the creditors, but given the possible alternatives, they'd be easy to deal with, and if any proposed buyer was reputable, they should be able to refinance relatively easily... a lot depends on the land and what you can do with it that's for certain, but a savvy investor wouldn't just mitigate losses, they'd clear the debts. Training ground and car parks etc..etc... it is a shit load of land in the right hands... I'd assume they'd use saving the club to try to sweeten any planning decisions. See the fact that we ended up with this post ED sale still confuses me.... at that point we would have been a moderately attractive proposition for £1, I guess we never found out what the promotion bonus ED wanted was though...

Is it? Its too simplistic view to say you have debt so that's an issue, as you need to look at the industry... I'd assume almost all football clubs work at what most would view as an unsustainable level of gearing (Debt/Equity). £26m of debt (as a figure bandied about) for a team with until recently Bolton's reputation in the game, with a 27k all seater stadium that will last for another couple of decades (probably), hotel, training ground, land etc...etc.... may not be that worrying for potential investors in a football club. Dealing with KA was problematic for potential investors pre-January, would they have gone the whole way, who knows, but unrealistic demands turned them away from what I was told about the situation.... and that Ken was a cnut... but we're not allowed to say that
