FWIW, £27m flipping property in 3 years is definitely realistic in terms of figures depending on what he’s been doing... Day job deals with GIIN property investment and we’re probably around the £20m mark for 12 month profits... and we’re quite nice and socially responsible... take a more profit driven approach and we could be circa £30m easily

@John Galt are you a Bolton fan? And if you are, are you happy with this?
-
Better than the alternative, no doubt about it... I've got a nagging feeling its not going to get much better though... hope to god I'm wrong.

Up until Stoke in the semi, we still beat Arsenal after that, but fuck me it’s been shit since then...

Yet you don't know what the true and fair concept is?
-
I'm not saying it isn't true and fair. Given you obviously have no idea what the true and fair concept is, for you, all it means is that auditors are looking for any material misstatements and that the accounts give a fair view of financial performance. If, there have been loans between BL and ICI, they'll not flag that as anything as long as its reflected in the financial statements, and in some brief conversations they've had there minds put at rest that its all going to get paid back. Read the disclosure from Cowgill's covers them, in a post AA world you'll not see an auditor do more than that in there disclosure...
-
Not from anything currently in the public domain... The accounts for 2016/17 show that BL was owed £3.4m in trade debtors and £0.3m of other debtors at 30 June 17, doesn't say if any of that was to ICI. If its been happening as suggested then 2017/18 accounts would be the place to look when they are published and compared the debtor positions... its still unlikely to show for certain. Published financial accounts very rarely tell you the absolute truth of a companies performance... True and fair is all they need to do.

John Thomas? Are you after some trainers?

I am not convinced (if they are real) that they care about running the club if as alluded they are moving between perspective buyers trying to deal for the land...

My two penn'orth, for what its worth, which is very little... if the LoV student is right about the share recall, then it points pretty conclusively to Howard knowing something... fairly certain he's the only source of the claim it was happening... Don't get me wrong I'm skeptical about Bahraini billionaire backers, as much as I want to believe it. I'd also not be surprised if his claim that they were willing to fund Bassini is true... Lands key to all this, they'll just be after that... you can turn land into masses of cash with the right strategy.
