Threlkeld can play anywhere across the back 4 as he can use both feet, Kellett is a good LB but is only good on the left. Threlkeld was on the bench v Millwall and played in the under 21 v Bury and scored. Usually he plays centre half but has played RB and in the centre of midfield for the under 21's. Finally a utility player who can play all over the place!! Looks a decent player when i saw him.

Is it just me or does anyone think that we have the worst defence with knight, mills and ream our best central defensive players. Wheater isn't great but shows how we miss Dawson. If things don't improve and we can't get Dawson back then I think we should try out the younger lads, threlkeld or Bolger they can't be as bad as this lot...

freezing last night but was a decent match. both central defenders bolger and threlkeld looked solid and kellett seems to be back in form. sat behind martin keown as his son plays for reading, that guy hasnt got any better looking with age....

Sorry to hear about jack as I thought he had the potential to be a good player but with Tom eaves getting a new 3 year contract and them being very similar types of player I think it was a case if him realising his chances were going to be limited. Zach clough, chris lester and Oscar Threlkeld have been awarded contracts and Andy Kellett has had an extension to his but a few players released I believe.
