Villa Tickets
I presume that you are on a wind up, but just let me get this clear: 1) You only want to watch the "big" games at home 2) You don't want to watch any of the lesser teams at home, because the atmosphere isn't good enough for you. 3) You would prefer to go to away games as the atmosphere is better, because 80% of our travelling fans are men who sing with more passion than the little kids and OAP's that watch at home Just read those three statements and tell me that you're not being a bit of a cock. Can I remind you that without the little kids coming watching Bolton Wanderers on a regular basis, then the club would die, as these are the supporters of the future. And the OAP's have probably been watching us for 40-50+ years and have stuck with the club from good times, all the way to us nearly going extinct and then back to the top again. These people should not be made to feel as though they contribute to a poor atmosphere - they should be applauded for the atmosphere they generated in previous decades that kept this great club alive CWP - On his soap box! good points there CWP, i take back what i said after reading your comments, but still in favour of an away season ticket!

Been watching the Whites since '96, got my first season ticket in '97 when i was 7, had a season ticket ever since to present, so been watching the whites for 7 years now, so decide upon yourselves whether I am a 'JCL', but i don't think i am, would of been hard to watch Bolton before the age of 7 when we played at Burnden - would of been difficult to see unless i went on my dads shoulders!

Have you not thought that possibly this is the sort of attitude that makes game at home against "lesser teams" seem to have a worse atmosphere. I for one, and I am sure many people on this board agree with me, love to watch Bolton at home and don't just pick and chose my games based on who the opposition is or isn't. If you don't mind me saying, you sound very much like a JCL who never watched us in the "dark days". This could be the factor that these games have worse atmosphere due to opinions like mine, but also, there are lots of women, young children, and quite a few OAP's that do not contribute to the atmosphere at home, except from singing "we're the one and only wanderers". Even that isnt sung with passion unlike at away games where it is 80% men. I don't know what a JCL is? And no, I didnt watch Bolton through the "dark days", wasn't alive then.

Why, surely the money would go to the "home" teams, i.e. not BWFC, so you would rather give your money to teams other than Bolton on a fortnightly basis - well that is sad I would go to probably half of the matches at home anyway, the games that are good and you look forward to eg. Blackburn, Man Utd, City, Liverpool, Everton, Chelsea, Arsenal etc. I would much rather pay my money to watch good matches at home and miss the rubbish matches at home eg. Fulham, Charlton etc, and get an away season ticket too, to watch Bolton on a regular basis, watch a good game in a better atmosphere.

I know for definate that I would have an away season ticket than a home one. Would much rather go to Fulham away than Fulham at home, better atmosphere at away grounds. Also, an away season ticket would see the same people at every away match, perhaps an even better atmosphere at away matchs if away season tickets came in. In favour of an away season ticket [-o<

UEFA CUP
Can you tell me when the draw for the UEFA is? Will Bolton be drawn straight into the group stages or will it be a qualifying round to get into the group stages?

Who will win the league?
They've signed Essien, so I would say the strongest midfield in the Prem by far for them now, Essien, Lampard, Robben, SWP, Makelele. And if the rumours are correct, Chelsea have offered ??49M for Shevchenko. But still, I'll be different and stick with my instict that Liverpool will win the league :-$ PS. If Liverpool do win the league, this post will crop up again on a Sunday afternoon the day Liverpool win it

Who will win the league?
Whatever Mourinho has done in the past, Benitez has done: Mourinho wins UEFA Cup with Porto - Benitez wins Uefa Cup with Valencia Mourinho wins Champs League with Porto - Benitez wins Champs League with Liverpool. Mourinho wins Prem with Chelsea... The script is written :-$

F365 poll!!!
Carlton Palmer 16% Phil Neville 33% Lee Dixon 2% Geoff Thomas 6% Michael Ricketts 35% Seth Johnson 6% Chris Schofield 2% Ricketts still leading slightly... Ricketts has to 'win' it I suppose, as he is really the worst England international I have ever seen. I remember being excited watching a Bolton player play for England, but at half time I was like :-s is that the same Ricketts? Look where he is now eh.. 'wanting to play for a bigger club'. Where is he now? Leeds? What a w@nker

Who will win the league?
As the start of the new season is looming, I am beginning to wonder who will win the league, or come close? Obviously it will consist of 4 teams; Chelsea Liverpool Man Utd Arsenal, but who will win it? 1. Liverpool (ITK) 2. Chelsea 3. Man Utd 4. Arsenal 5. Tottenham. What do you think? And NO I am not a closet Liverpool supporter!

The Duck and the Condom
A newlywed couple returned to their apartment after being on their honeymoon. "Care to go upstairs and do it?" the husband asked. "Shh!" said the bride "All the neighbors will know what we're about to do. These walls are paper thin. In the future, we'll have to ask each other in code. For example, how about asking, 'Have you left the washing machine door open' instead?" So, the following night, the husband asks, "I don't suppose you left the washing machine door open, did you?" "No, I definitely shut it," replied the wife who rolled over and fell asleep. When she woke up however, she was feeling a little frisky herself and she nudged her husband and said, "I think I did leave the washing machine door open after all. Would you like to do some washing?" "No, thanks," said the husband. "It was only a small load so I did it by hand."

The Duck and the Condom
Two honeymooning ducks are staying in a hotel. As they are about to make love, the male duck says, ???We don???t have any condoms. I''ll call room service.??? So he calls and asks for condoms. The receptionist says, ''OK sir, would you like to put them on your bill?'' ''No,'' he says, ''I''ll suffocate!'' :-$
