July 27, 200520 yr do you reckon we'll sell out? am goin to Real Old Trafford on Friday for Ashes but am thinkin on takin a flyer & going to Villa on saturday as well go on holiday on the sunday for a fortnight so I reckon she'll have forgiven me after a couple of days if I watch the kids

Why ? have they rang you and told you that your'e not allowed to go !!!!Get to Villa Park and get behind the lads. as for many other people it may be a financial reason. if you were saving up for UEFA you may have already decided which away matches you may need to sacrafice. many have booked family hols to fit around uefa dates in the knowledge that they will miss league fixtures to be on hols instead. in an ideal world we would all be at every match, the tickets would be free, and wed get flown there on a private jet at the queens expense. for those who can afford everything- well done. for those who cant- keep mucking through.

July 28, 200520 yr Holidays should be taken during the non football season !!Jules makes a good point. jules does make a good point, the cant be arsed brigade is totally different from the cant afford it and i have a life and commitments outside of football brigade. however- you try taking a hols for 2 adults and 2 kids out of season. expensive. makes the difference as to wether you can get your season ticket or not. personally id rather have a season ticket and go to 75% of away matches than go on hols in summer and go to 10% away matches. we all make our own decisions. its called being an adult.

July 29, 200520 yr Can't get to Villa Park, having a family party and i'm expected to go also, wouldnt be able to get back from the Reebok at night becuase i would be travelling on the coaches, the party is in Breightmet , taxi fare from Horwich to breightmet would be sky high on a Sat night, so fook it, get to all t'other away matches instead! Looks like first away game for me is Man City.

I remember that - I'm standing by the ticket office and the dulcet tones of Undies ring out... Trouble is for me bloody home games are away and the fact that last year was the first since 80-81 that I got to all home league games limited the number of aways I could do - which is a pity as they are always the most memorable. Got to Chelsea, Charlton, Fulham, Norwich, WBA, Pompey and Yeovil and can remember stuff- even just daft stuff - about each trip in a way thats not true of most home games. UEFA has to be priority as we may never get the chance again.....to go to Keflavik
