i hate em- not the band- i mean rude ignorant people.

in town this morning going into the market hall there was a guy coming up to the doors pushing a pram, being polite i held the door for him, and at the same time another guy with a pram was waiting on the other side of the door, both of them went through, one with a big 'thanks love'- and a 'your welcome', from me.

other one??? ignorant ungratefull tosspot didnt even acknowledge me.

my mum always taught me that good manners is so important and so worthwhile. she would kick my ass if i didnt say please and thanks at the shop etc. and im the same with my kids, no please n thanks then they dont get. i aways praise then if they say thanks to a bus driver/lollypop lady etc.

it doesnt matter who you are- rich-poor-which culture etc, manners are always appreciated, am i expecting too much????

incidentally- the polite guy was about 35, the ignorant shit was about 25.

i was wondering if it was a younger generation being impolite thing. then i remembered im 27 and ive got manners.

I was also about to put this until I read yours, nothing does my napper in worse than ignorant drivers...and the majority of them are men

Also ignorant van drivers who ram my car when it is parked up then drive off leaving no details forcing me to claim on my insurance

yeh, its bad. For example, I was at a Nativity Play last year and just as it got to a bit where the kids had clearly spent some time rehearsing and were keen to thus have have everyone's undivided attention - WALLOP - there was a fart so loud it sounded like a moose coughing. And the smell! But did he apologise (it could only have been a he) did he buggery....
