Hmmmm, , being rewarded for taking responsibility for your own actions is well and good when youre getting a child to confess to drawing on the wallpaper, and teaching them to be honest etc.

By the time youre an adult you shouldnt get f**kin praised for it, its MANDATORY.

for the quartering bit they used to tie wrists and ankles to 4 horses and then get the horses to gallop off in different directions.

i like the idea of massive tin can and then put that over a massive fire so he basically melts to death.

Quartering by horse wasn't always very effective, as you could end up with 3 seperated limbs, and then a torso with one flailing limb still attached. Ideally you would like all the quarters to be of equal size.

 

In truth though, there were 5 bit's as the head would be lopped off and treated as a seprate entity

 

They did use horses occasionaly, but the quartering purist would always use sharp tools ahead of equine power.
