As a player I quite like him. Call me sick, call me immature, but the whole munich/yorkshire thing makes me a bit apathetic about the whole thing. I'm not glad it happened. I'm just not bothered.

He's one of the last players around who plays football like God intended and frankly I'm not enough of a child to hate him because of where he's from or what shirt he wears. I've nothing but sympathy for him and hope it's not as bad as it looks. There can be no comparison between him and, say, Ronaldo, who went over today when someone in the pub bumped into the telly.

Know what the lad's going through, broke my leg Cisse styleeee last April, still got ma pin in it. Havin' it taken out in October. Bloody painful and a huge piss take!
