I think that Allardyce's priorities have changed since he said that FA cup was the most important thing to him; 4th place in the league has opened up to us and is a possibility and I certainly think that finishing 6th for Europe again is a much easier task than winning the cup with 7 other Prem teams left in it...

 

As for tomorrow I think we will change our team, which arguably may weaken it, but change it according to the fact that we're away and I expect West Ham to start like a freight train - i.e. he may play the likes of Pederson and Faye giving others a rest.

 

For the record, I don't think that Pardew deliberately played a weaker team on Sat - I think he tried to shore up the midfield and just got it horribly wrong - that's different than playing a "weakened" team on purpose in my view. That said,, I'm sure 90% of Hammers (could be wrong though) would prefer Harewood and Ashton to Zamora and Sheringham. It'll be interesting to see who they play up front tomorrow...
