coxy Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 The lads playing out of his skin, can he do no wrong! one of best left backs in prem! best, on form!
xxxxxx Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 He's playing very well. Making a lot of good tackles.
Super_JohnMac Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 yes agreed and he must have a great chance for Player of the Year!!! what do you think?
Guest Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 The lads playing out of his skin, can he do no wrong! one of best left backs in prem! best, on form!
Guest as Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 He's great recently. But he was getting as much flack as Hunt in the past Fickle football fans............ PB
mickbrown Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 The lads playing out of his skin, can he do no wrong! one of best left backs in prem! best, on form! I'm struggling to think of any better that are actually playing at the moment. Certainly not your fecking muppet.
exiledwhite2 Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 He has been truly outstanding for two months, and if there's a better left back in the prem at the moment I haven't seen 'em.
HomerJay Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 ricky has been playin out of his skin recently and he was certainly more ambitious going forward last night... player of the season fer me... (2nd half anyway)
YATESY Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 makes you think, how did Nolan get the Prem player of the month for Feb? Surely the 'panel of experts' couldn't mix up Ricky and Nobby
HomerJay Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 i too was suprised with the award, i thought it was one of nolans quieter months tbh...
pike_mill_white Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Ricky is leaving for a massive club at the end of the season, probably Cidy or Wet Spam.
Burndenboy Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 I will get attacked for this i know but i think Riccy is a decent player but has a lot of defensive lapses. Didn't both goals last night come his side of the pitch? Bambi gets caught out a lot because he is out off position. Clearly thats just my opinion but i will stick by it.
HomerJay Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 1st goal: offside 2nd goal: pedersen was covering coz ricky had just ran his tits of for 5 mins attacking... but yes he does get cought now and again at the back post...
Burndenboy Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 i agree pal im not knocking him hes come on leaps and bounds this season, but he certainly can still improve. To be classed as the best left back in the premiership is quite an exageration.

Burndenboy Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Yup agreed theres nobody out there for us that is better than him and long may his improvement continue.
exiledwhite2 Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 i agree pal im not knocking him hes come on leaps and bounds this season, but he certainly can still improve. To be classed as the best left back in the premiership is quite an exageration. What's the competition then, Ashley Cole, Riise, Heinze....who else? And 2 of those have barely played this season, the other one plays left wing half the time. So it's hardly an exaggeration is it?
HomerJay Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 del Horno, evra, bridge, even traore coming on alot....
Lennie Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 I will get attacked for this i know but i think Riccy is a decent player but has a lot of defensive lapses. Didn't both goals last night come his side of the pitch? Bambi gets caught out a lot because he is out off position. Clearly thats just my opinion but i will stick by it. He does get caught but that is because nobody covers for him when he is attacking. He also gets caught because he is covering for others, usually the centrebacks, as happened for Sherringhams goal on Saturday. he can't be everywhere at once. great player and in a time when club loyalty has gone out of the window, a great servant to the club.
exiledwhite2 Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 del Horno, evra, bridge, even traore coming on alot.... Homer you've managed to pick four players who are not even first choice at their clubs you f??cking plum. Traore is coming on so much he is 3rd choice at Liverpool and they are signing ANOTHER left back in the summer. Jesus wept
HomerJay Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 no, i was just thinking out loud of leftbacks... werent sayin how good they were... although del horno is a great player but injured... bridge was a great player till injury...
exiledwhite2 Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 'Think' in your head, when you've got summat useful to say, post
