big sam for england..............

..........don't make me laugh. bringing two strikers on with 3 minutes to go to try and get something out of the match was pathetic. hopefully people will now see that he doesn't make the clinical decisions when necessary. e.g. paul jewell. wigan concede at teh reebok he then brings on two strikers to pull it back

Never been worried about Sam going to England. Was never on the cards. Always believed it would be Curbishley. Southerner. In with the FA clique. Stands to reason don't it? My outsider would be Peter Taylor but I don't think the FA would have the balls to appoint him until he has a good Premiership record.

Yeah Allardyce is shite, never done anything good for this club. Never made any great signings, never set up the best backroom staff in the business, never dragged a failing club out of nowhere to be a top 10 prem club after spending fcuk all, what a c*nt he is, I wish he'd never taken over the club and Roy McFarland had stayed - he woulda been great for us.

to be fair, i think the majority of reasons behind our success is down to other area's rather than the 90mins of football each week.

and heres a big statement, if sam leaves we will not be any worse off because of the infrastucture he has put in place. (providing we replace him with a fairly decent manager)

If he had brought on strickers and we still lost would everyone be saying good decision, at least he went for it? :-k

if he goes most of the back room staff go.

this is a FACT.

a friend of friend of a friend is on the staff and they will all go with him.

for the pedantic cunts on here no i do nt mean the tea lady but the people who run the team will all go

Not so much a 'big' statement as a 'thoroughly stupid' one

Sam Allardyce is the most important person in the history of the club, i include mr lofthouse in that (the player not the lion)

what he has done here is a ragging miracle, he has changed the way people think about the game, the way we train is different than anywhere else.

i actually started to think you sometimes talk sense Homer. for the first time i can remember you have proved me wrong. ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

Just to be clear, I was not slagging Sam off. Best thing to happen to BWFC since Nat. Incredible what he's achieved on a shoestring budget. My point was I don't want him to go anywhere. I like him just where he is and the top half of the Prem every year will do me just fine.

Didn't think about it at the start of the 'who will replace Sven' speculation but I am warming to Curbishley. Has that quiet way that Sir Alf had. Could turn out to be a gem for England.

monday morning, :D

plus im trying to shine a bit of light which possible could be a terrible situation...

plus the guy i know at the club would never leave with sam, unless sam left for a near by club, and im guessing many of the staff would be in the same boat.

so sayin all staff would leave is just a worst case scenario.

so i stand by what i say, the infrastructure will remain.

Haha that is funny! Backtracking eh?

Homer - the main thrust of what you said was NOT 'the infrastructure will remain' it was that we 'wouldn't be worse off without Sam'.

Do you stand by THAT? [-X

backtrack me? never!

the infrastructure will remain, FACT

we will be no worse off without sam, HOPEFULLY

Think you are kidding yourself if you think the status quo will prevail. Things will take a nosedive when Sam goes FACT! But maybe what Sam has done here will be enough for us to get through that period. Anyway, he isn???t going nowhere he staying for ever and ever.

You heard it here first.

Amazing, truelly amazing, best season probably ever and you moan!

Pathetic!

If Sam were to be appointed England coach, would the FA be prepared to employ all our back room staff as well. I dont think they would and if Sam were to dig his heels in over this matter it may well lead to him not being offered the job.

sam has built the infrastucture around exactly what he thinks is needed.

did yiu know in training we only in straight lines ? so we get less injuries, the set up is totally different to every other club.

so a ne wmanager would nt know what to do with bits of it, the people in these roles know this and will follow sam simple as.

i tell you this if sam goes to newcastle say, and offers his staff an extra 4-5k to go with him, how many do you think will stay ?

the ones he does nt want.

Amazing, truelly amazing, best season probably ever and you moan!

Pathetic!

I agree, fickle does not even begin to cover it, saying we won't miss Sam if he leaves - absolutely shocking behaviour. [-X

this was in the papers a couple of weeks back - Sam was dropping down the pecking order cause of the backroom situation.

Wise words from the blue nose!

Away days in the eighties...grimsby and stoke!

Away days now...marseille and besiktas!

=D> =D>

I can't believe all the moaning gits on here

My god when will you lot stop being so moany and wake up enjoy what we have, this is the best season in the history of Bolton Wanderers and all you lot can do it moan and whinge about something that probably won't even happen anyway

Lets go back a few divisions shall we and then we will have something to moan about

Doesnt matter when we have it good or bad you lot still find something to moan about

I wish we would have had the season you have had!

i think everyone is so down because we know what we are capable of and recently the team or Sam has'nt shown this. The team seems to be lacking the ambition we once had. Even at Marseille we lacked when we needed it most. We all know we were capable of beating them.

I comfortable win at Brum will change everything though :D
