From your location I would guess that those morbid Yorkshire tw@ts are messing with your head. Christ' date=' you make Homer Jay look like an optimist.

You want to be careful with them Yorkies mate. I worked in Huddersfield for 2 years. Biggest bunch of miserable, tight fisted coonts I have had the misfortune to meet. Liked to try and stick it to the red rose though.

The one that usually shuts them up is "Alright, alright. I admit there is one thing that Yorkshire is far better at than Lancashire. Producing murderers"

Think about it. The Black Panther. Yorkshire Ripper. Those asian vermin who blew up the underground. All Yorkshire. I rest my case m'lud.

For fcuks sake YW, cheer up. At least until Traf relieves you of your cash when BWFC take points from the next 3 games.[/quote']

well said bolty my friend =D> =D>

and from Perth, Australia you've been to the last 4 games right?

No but had you been reading the threads lately, you would probably know I have attended a few games in each of 15 of the 18 years I've been away. Do the maths. Each of those years has cost at least what you lads have spent on the UEFA away days so I think my supporting credentials are OK and entitle me to comment.

.....errr, surprisingly no. I did, however see the whole of the Boro and Man U games live and only highlights of Sunderland and Brum. Bottom line is that there are those that are only happy when things are going wrong and they can sound off about them. Put me in the 'ever the optimist' camp with quite a lot off here who attended in the dark days and fully appreciate where we are right now. In the top 7 clubs in England. Please take a moment and play that over in your head a few times. Bolton Wanderers are one of the top seven clubs in England. That should take your depression away unless YW stands for Yorkshire White. If that is the case and you are one of them, I am wasting my time trying to enthuse you. I have this theory that the Smiths must have originally come from Leeds.

no problems with getting beat and 7th in the legaue is brilliant for us but getting beat by very poor teams like Birmingham without any effort is not acceptable. If you find displays like that acceptable then fine but when I'm proud of my club and the players insult the fans and all connected with clueless gutless performances then I take offence to it.

and with all this war of the roses shite that is being talked about, from living in Yorkshire and spending loads of time in Lancashire with my family and watching BWFC, the Lancastrians make more of an issue with it than Yorkshire folk do and I'm born in neither county so call me a tight whinging Yorkshire coont if you want but means fcuk all

You haven't lived if some Yorkshireman hasn't said to you....

"best thing come aart a Lancashire's road ter Yorkshire"

And then there's that all-time classic football song done by Yorkshire clubs

YORKSHIRE, YORKSHIRE, YORKSHIRE

(repeat to fade)

don't tar Yorkshire with Leeds United.

It's fine.

I'm 100% confident I'll profit from this bet. :-$

I have backed Liverpool to win on Sunday.

??10 @ odds of 1.57.

If Liverpool win, I'll have ??15.70, which I'll then put on Chelsea at about 1.25.

If they don't win, I'll have YW's ??20! :D :D/

I know I'll be in profit on this one.

Didn't think I called you anything? Think I asked if YW meant Yorkshire White. My experience is absolutely the opposite to yours. Yorkshire folk I worked with and have met here (about half of Paradise Lost Scooter Club is from there) are obsessed with the War of the Roses thing. Not hard to understand. Lancashire - half the founding members of the football league. Way out in front of every fecker in terms of trophies won. Until recent times, dominated RL. Better at cricket (that one ALWAYS gets em jumping!). Then, of course, we won the War of the Roses (not every battle but the war) and have been beating them ever since. I like to wind em up down here by stating that England adopted the red rose as an emblem because we won. If they'd won the national emblem would be the white rose. Absolute b0ll0cks I know but you try disproving it. :D

It's fine.

Which gives you a net loss of ??4.30 after you've paid the bet.

Not sure about that Micky. Doesn't the bet with YW cover the next two games after L'pool as well?

why is it when you whinge at the moment people call you fickle?

at the end of the day we are playing poorly with a lack of passion - does not matter where we have come from etc etc this is where we are now and with the team and season we have had it is very frustrating to see it going down the pan at the end

I was at Scarboro away & Darlo home for lowest attendance but thinking about that does not give me any comfort in the current state of affairs

at the end of the day we are playing poorly with a lack of passion

playing poorly at boro - maybe

lack of passion - came from 2 goals behind, so i'm not having that

united - took the current best team in the country to the last ten minutes...that suggests we didn't play that bad, and you can't give utd a game if you don't work hard

brum - couldn't go, but by all accounts we were poor

why do people always have to suggest 'lack of passion' when we don't win ](*,)

It's fine.

I'm 100% confident I'll profit from this bet. :-$

15.70 would then go on Chelsea at 1.25 at worst.

This would give me ??19.63 to put on West Brom at evens at worst.

This leaves me with ??39.26, ??20 for YW, ??10 stake and ??9.26 profit.

That way everyone's a winner except BWFC.

well it will all be fine tomorrow :D :D :D :D :D :D

BWFCOLINH58.....I T K

whats happening now is what sam feared would happen before the season

started if he didn`t get proper funds for strengthening the squad for all the

matches we`d have to play
