Need to mate, the time has come to put an end to it. Its bad when you can't remember past 8Pm and then end up scrapping for no reason whatsoever with someone you would never recognise again and spend time in a&e for a head wound caused by over eager doormen, plus the amount of money I would save.

 

Christ I could of burnt the house down the previous sunday due to being wrecked.

I've probably not gone more than 5 days without drinking for 2 years.

 

But I'm not an alcoholic

Stopped drinking for 12 months a few years back. Did it quite easily aswel.

used to go out & drink orange, coke or bitter lemons. & yeah i was on 3 tabs of acid a day @ weekends to cut out the cravings.

it was worse at the festivals watching all my mates get w??nk??red and i as sober as owt!!

 

although i did manage to get absolutely wasted off 2 double JD's when me 12 months was up!

A chap who runs the local pub near me had a bet with one of the punters that he could abstain for 3 months. They had a ??100 bet. The landlord went all the way until the last week, and then was caught licking his finger as he changed an optic and then promptly lost the bet.
