pi multiplied by diameter

Circumference of Circle = PI x diameter

where PI = = 3.141592

times it by a dozen less 4...

What do they teach you these days. Basic maths this!!!

 

C = pi*d (pi times the diameter)

 

SO 14.73

And the area would be 17.27 if that's your next question.

most people round PI down to just two decimal points though (certainly for school work anyway)
