Having become a sceptic, couldn't all these reports of talks intensifying etc with Saviola and Sorin, just be the fact that we actually will be talking with them today as opposed to not doing yesterday with there actually being a match on?

 

For example - we've reportedly agreed a fee with Villareal for Sorin, so of course we'll talk to him - doesn't mean that he's slightly interested or that we'd be close to his requirements even if he was.

 

As we all know, talking to the players and their agents seems to be the hardest bit these days...

How come when Newcastle say "We're interested in Duff" they show him in a Newcastle shirt 3 days later. And yet when we have a player training with us, playing in friendlies we STILL can't get a signature?????
