the man had the ability to be a top class player, shame his head and his arse became too big, wasted talent.

Kin hell - he was good. There goes Boltons 15-20 goal a season striker.

PB

What a waste. I'd totally forgotten (or more likely blanked out) just how good he was. Wasn't a surprise that he got his England chance when you look at those.

He was good business. Maybe the backroom staff saw him going slightly off the boil and we got shut at the right time.

Whilst our fans often moan when the club sell players, in fairness there haven't been many who have gone to other clubs and maintained the standards which we had seen at the Reebok.

Like you said, over recent years we seem to have had a pretty handy knack of selling people at the right time.

I guess the obvious exception is Eidur

As much as it hurts me to say this but Eidur was to good for us. He gave 100% and needed to play around better players to improve. To that end I don't even think Chelski got the best out of him.

charlie comyn platt is fooked then 8-[

People may argue that his goals at Leicester, Arsenal etc. were his best.

His goal at Tottenham on Monday Night Football in front of Sven.
