the worlds gone daft

I thought he was happy at carlisle ?

17 goals in 21 games for them got them promotion.

Good luck to him - I felt we didn't really give him a chance.

The stint at Carlisle bagging goals will have done his confidence a world of good !!

I agree. I don't know why we didn't send him on loan instead of getting rid. As shown, it would increase his confidence and then see what he can do. Don't see how we could lose. If he's still not at the right standard, get rid then and get 350K.

Bridges was after a move for a while.. it was no secret in Carlisle that he wanted to go to a Champioship side and wasn't happy at Carlisle. According to season ticket holders at Carlisle from work he wasn't the same payer as last season and they were glad to see him go for a ??350k profit.

Now Carlisles main players seem to be Kevin Gall and Karl Hawley

I'm not too sure about that.

Remember seeing him against Inter, in a drab pre-season friendly. (As always)

I'm well aware that friendlies are not the correct way to judge anything at all, but I knew Bridges would never get a chance of appearing in a white shirt. He looked so off the pace it was untrue.

Davies looked off the pace when we had him on trial at first, but this was something else.

He went back to Sunderland in the Championship before Carlisle. Didn't impress much there in a few games either, they didn't offer him a new long term deal, and he was duly released.
