nigh on 30 years ago we got back into the old 1st - so if then you'd have told me we'd be there, in the same division, 30 years later I'd have found that more credible than the idea that we would plummit to the 4th in the space of 9 years.

You would have had stiff competion with zozzytours, we had 4 representatives on the ryanair/easyjet/wizzair websites as the draw balls were being pulled out of the hat.

 

This happened when we drew Plovdiv and so we had a quick look at the map and booked 10 return flights to the nearest airport to Plovdiv (Sofia) A few days later it was announced that the stadium wasn't up to standard and we played in a town near Varna airport 250 miles away.

if we beat wigan on saturday will be still be third BUT we will have beaten a local team in our last game rather than having been dicked 4-0 by a local team so things can get better.
