December 13, 200619 yr ive dropped mine in water a few times but only for 5 minutes or so- never for a full wash and spin cycle. take the back off, battery out etc and leave it to dry out for a few days. id say your chances are rather teeny weeny though. is it insured?? is there any chance you could say a child put it in the washer etc?? have you slapped your wife yet??
