On-line Tickets For St Holders

Featured Replies

Hi,

anyone tried this yet - it appears you only get to choose part of ground, not claim your seats.

Or am I just being particularly thick today?

I had a look myself and found the same thing too, and also that it appears you can buy multiple tickets for ??15, rather than the one per season ticket holder as stated on the official site. Also tried calling the T/O and was on hold for 10 minutes so hung up......will attempt to purchase in person tonight instead methinks.....

Isn't there a link for "buy season ticket cup seats"? Or something similar at the top of the page.

As a member, I'm getting:

An error has occurred when retrieving auto cup scheme ticket details. Please try again later.

Well done BWFC =D>

Ah, good spot! However just tried that and got "An error has occurred when retrieving auto cup scheme ticket details. Please try again later." So MS Windows having failed me, I'll try at the T/O window later!!

Ah yes. The online site is great on the odd occasion it works

All I get is "There are no tickets currently on sale"

They recommend you use it, yet it isnt kept up to date and in working order!!

BWFC ticket office - what a f??cking joke ::::::::lol::::::::

I don't think you can blame them, as such. The system is shite, I'm suitably qualified to make that professional assessment. Whoever defined the requirements is a moron IMO.

The club are trying to resolve the issue as they are aware of the problem.

This is not the fault of BWFC as Carlos has already stated, but the crap system they are using.

I didn't quite say it wasn't the fault of BWFC, someone somewhere within BWFC made the decision to purchase and then install that system. There are some really good bits to it i.e. selecting the stand you wish to sit in, however it doesn't give you enough control about where the seats are located and isn't flexible enough to allow members to purchase tickets (for example).

In my professional opinion, it was poorly spec'd. Whoever captured the requirements at BWFC and the company that produced the system did a really, really bad job. The poor programmers probably could have produced a system that meets today's customer requirements, given the correct info. I get the impression it was done on the cheap.

Now, now HW. I know you're got 'friends at the club' now, but they bought the system. So I'll repeat my previous statement.

BWFC ticket office - what a f??cking joke :good:

Poorly spec'd is an understatement, the whole thing looks crap like it was knocked up by an kid in 30 mins. If they paid anything for that then they were robbed.

the club buy a crap system, who else is to blame except the club ?

the ticket office staff get all the flak but a better the desicion was made somewhere up the line by senior management.

did you know the club internet site was scored as the worst in the premeir league in Revolution magazine recently ?

get zico and carlos in there to sort it all out.

Can anyone tell me what was wrong with the good old days of just going to the ticket office or queing up to get a ticket in big cup games. They had certain days for season ticket, lifeline, members then open sale. Dont recall many complaints well apart from having get up at crack of dawn! Even had Bruce rioch bringing round the brews with the team!

Ultimately it is the club's fault. As you say the decision is made by senior management. It should be made by an IT specialist who has done a detailed requirements analysis. If it had been, you'd be able to get membership discount and buy away tickets online.

BWFC isn't alone in this. For example, the RAC spent ??26 million on a system that is absolutely shite. When it was first installed, it couldn't send out someone to fix your car unless you knew the postcode of the area where you'd broken down.

Software houses see people like this coming and sell bad systems to mugs for lots of money.

btw it's the auto allocation part of the system that isn't working, ie the bit that gives you your usual seat. If you click on 'buy ticket' you can purchase a ticket - but it'll be in a different place.

online system worked fine for me. Got my seat no bother

Working now - the 9 year old who 'designed' and implemented the system must have got home from school.

Everytime i try online iget same message

" ticketing facility not available "

Does it ever work ?
