Since Wednesday I know 5 people who have had their bank accounts tampered with to varying degrees, 1 bloke had ??2900 withdrawn, in f??ckin Australia, he was in Asda in Leigh at the time, 2 of my daughters mates have both had a couple of hundred quid taken, my daughter got a letter from the bank to say someone had tried to withdraw funds from her account, I rang the RBS to ask about it and they said there is a police/fraud squad investigation going on at the moment, all those involved used their debit cards at a petrol station in Atherton

A colleague of mine from Atherton has just returned from holiday to find her bank account thoroughly raided, most of the withdrawals/transactions... most of them in Brooklyn US bizarrely enough

My daughter phoned her bank today and they told her she was paying 7.99 a month to a fookin african charity, the account was set up in Greece, I told her if she pays to that she can start paying us some keep!!!!!!! went down like a russian submarine

And some Nigerian hacked my ebay account and ordered loads of laptops from America last week. Obviously, even Americans aren't stupid enough to send ??9,000 of laptop to 'opposite the petrol station, Lagos, Nigeria' without some payment up front
